The writer of Proverbs is giving some heartfelt advice to his son about life, values, morals and the wisdom necessary to live a productive lifestyle. One of the significant ways the writer sought to instruct and inspire his son was in the area of honoring God with his life. Each of us have numerous opportunities each day to make choices and decisions that will honor God. What a great opportunity we have at the beginning of the new year to honor God with our resources, while also aligning ourselves with abundance from God.
