Gospel artist Ricky Dillard has a somewhat popular song titled, "I Survived It." The song celebrates the overcoming nature of those who walk with God. All of us have survived some situation or circumstance that at first sight we thought might be insurmountable. In other words, each of us has had our own it we've survived.
In his second letter to the Corinthian church, the Apostle Paul lets his readers know who they are as followers of Christ, and how they survive challenging circumstances in life. Each of us is on a journey that often involves unfavorable experiences and it is imperative that we possess a proper clarification of ourselves, a positive interpretation of our difficulties, and a powerful demonstration of God's work in our lives. It is through practicing these principles that we survive the hardships of life.
