This scripture looks at what most scholars describe as Apostle Paul's greatest Prayer, in which they describe as the crowning prayer of the Bible. It is a prayer Paul prayed from a Roman jail that the church would understand God's love for His people.
So, he prays that we would understand the length, width, height and depth of God's love for us as well as that we would be strengthen with power in the "inner man".
