Most if not all of us, experience moments of desperation. Sometimes desperation may be brought about by a life event or situation that requires more than the we believe we have to offer. It is instances like these and others that can send us into thoughts and feelings of desperation.
Jesus shares a story in our text about a man needing bread for a friend that illustrates how we can move from moments of desperation to determination. In other words. we don't have to allow feelings of inadequacy or incapability to rule our response to life situations. We can have determination. We can overcome those moments that can sometime derail us by taking action, taking rejection, and taking opportunities to overcome these challenges.
