We serve a God who gives us so much better than what we deserve and so much better than what other people think we deserve. When you begin to receive the promises of God and walk in them your life will never be the same. In fact, others will see that the life you're living must be scripted by someone greater than you.
However, how do you get what God has promised? In our text, we find that God has made a monumental promise to Abram and there are a few principles practiced by Abram that open the door for the promise to come to pass. We see that it takes a relationship with God, a response to God, and a release to God. Yes, we can get what God has promised us if we are willing to do our part.
