In our text, we find that the Israelites are receiving instruction from God that they are to celebrate during certain times of the year as they go through the wilderness.  God tells Moses to remind the people to celebrate 3 special festivals.  Each festival is actually indicative of a part of God's character and interaction with His children.  The children of Israel are instructed to celebrate God's ability to deliver His people, while they also should recognize that they are able to depend on His provision and help. We too have so much to celebrate when we consider where God has brought us from collectively and individually.
