Every now and then we may encounter a life situation that pushes us to the point of quitting. Life has a way of dealing us some difficulties and hardships that can cause us to desire to throw in the towel. However, God desires that we don't give up, but exercise the courage to continue.
Ruth and her family experience some tragic situations but yet they do not allow their hardships to hold them back. They exercised the courage to continue. We see from their experience that courage like this happens when we are aware of God's power, that God defies logic, and God's provision. It is understanding God that helps us have the courage to continue.
